100 Canvases for a Better World
Posted: 2011-07-06 12:12:01
Chicago's The Silver Room was one of my first opportunities to show my paintings and explore becoming a professional artist. It was a tremendously successful venue for me and I'll always be grateful for their support! I hope you'll take time to check out their event 100 Canvases for a Better World this Friday, July 8. You can bid on paintings by 100 local artists, including myself. (I'll always consider myself a local!) Please support, what I consider to be, one of Wicker Park's cultural institutions!

If you're lucky enough to attend an upcoming event in one of the private suites at Bridgestone Arena,be sure to keep an eye peeled for paintings by myself and other local artists. Music City Gallery is curating work that will be shown on the Executive Level for the next several weeks. I'm flattered to be included in this new venture and excited for the wide variety of events and patrons the venue has to offer! Nothing like a little art to class up the joint, eh?!

Books and Texture Samples Now Available!
Posted: 2008-06-16 20:57:13
For those of you who have seen my work in person may begin to understand my frustration with the lack of textural translation that a photograph doesn't quite convey. I always encourage everyone to please see them in person if possible! Since this isn't always an option, I'm now offering to send you a free texture sample if you'd like to get a better idea of the work.

That being said...I was quite surprised by an overwhelming number of requests for copies of my new portfolio at The Artist Project this spring. I now have copies available for $40. The hardback book with high-gloss dust jacket contains 30 images of some of my favorite pieces. Although I'm not currently set-up to accept payment through my site, please email me if you are interested in purchasing a copy or if you'd like the aforementioned texture sample!
Enjoy your summer! More from me soon!
